Ooi Say Teik, known as Michael, brings over three decades of experience in the legal field. As Managing Partner, he oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations. Additionally, he has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of three companies listed on the Bursa Stock Exchange since 2003. Within these public listed companies, Michael assumed pivotal leadership roles. He served as the Chairman of the Nominations Committee and the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, while also contributing as a vital member of the Audit Committee. He currently sits on the board of a private state-owned company.
Since 2015, Michael has also played an active role in the dynamic world of crowdfunding. He currently holds the position of Director at Peoplender Sdn Bhd, a peer-to-peer lending company, demonstrating his forward-thinking involvement in financial innovation.
Michael’s experience in these diverse areas lends a unique approach to his leadership and legal expertise, making him a valuable asset to the firm.

Sim Sun Sun possesses extensive expertise and knowledge in conveyancing, particularly in sale and purchase agreements, tenancy documentation, loan and security documentation, and transfer of land or property. Aside from these matters, she also handles the areas of banking and securities, and commercial. Currently, she is a Partner in the Puchong office, having served the firm in that capacity since March 2010.

Ho Chang Lee, William first joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in 2010, following his tenure at Messrs Dennis Nik & Wong. He advanced upward to become a Partner in 2024, and currently serves as Conveyancing Partner and AMLA Compliance Officer. William is committed to client satisfaction and professional growth, emphasising the importance of maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge, professionalism, and effective communication. In his leadership approach, he believes in asking insightful questions that foster strong relationships and informed decision-making.

Sheryn is a dedicated legal practitioner with a conveyancing portfolio that includes advising on and preparing sale and purchase agreements, tenancy and lease arrangements, project development documentation, and related regulatory compliance. Since joining the firm in May 2021, she has continued to hone her legal and advisory skills, upholding integrity and ethical legal practice. Appointed as a Partner in the Kuala Lumpur office in July 2025, she is trusted by clients for her diligence, precision, and approachable manner in delivering practical legal solutions.
